Welcome to the Flash version of the game
As well as this game being accessible for sighted users, the game can also be played by people with visual impairments.
This game is accessible using Jaws version 4.5 and Window-eyes Version 4.2. If you are accessing the game using screenreader technology older than these versions please use the HTML version of the game.
How to play the game
You will first be presented with a choice of two dates. Choose which date you wish to go on and you will be taken to meet them. The date will then begin with a flash movie showing what happens when you meet your date. You will need to press the 'play scene' button to access the movie. Once the scene has been played you will be presented with a question and a series of responses about what will happen next. Depending on your choices the date could go very well or very badly!
Tips for screenreader users
If you are using a screenreader to access the game you can use the up and down arrow keys to move around the flash elements on the page. Using the up and down arrows will ensure that you access all elements on each page. On an area with a long description you will need to use the arrow keys to hear all the text provided.
You can also tab through main sections of each page. The section order is as follows: page title, scene description, buttons to skip the movie or play the movie, question about what to do next and finally a RNIB did you know message.
