Patricia is standing in the bar.

You decide to buy a bottle of red wine. Things seem to be going well and even the poodle has stopped growling! Blind and partially sighted people come from all sorts of backgrounds. Some are clever, some are not. There are blind sportsmen, gardeners and chess players, teachers and typists, lawyers and housewives. Some blind people are young but most are older people because many have lost their sight as they've got older. Some blind children go to special schools while some are integrated into mainstream schools with sighted children. Some adults are in employment but most are unemployed or retired.
